Transforming Challenges Into Opportunities

  • In 1996 an inflection point moment occurred for me when Dr. Andrew Grove, Chief Executive of Intel Corporation at the time, published his book Only the Paranoid Survive, about managing the complexity of business and what he coined as strategic inflection points.

About this same time I was mentoring and training a small group of Intel engineers about my process for what they called my uncanny ability to “land on my feet” after re-orgs and other business disruptions. This process would evolve to become my Personal Inflection Curve™ model. It would also eventually lead to my writing Innovation in a Reinvented World (2011, John Wiley & Sons, Inc.)

  • Accountability is at the heart of everything I do. It’s a core value that drives my approach to leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. I believe in taking ownership—whether it’s delivering on promises, holding myself to the highest standards, or fostering a culture of accountability within the teams I lead.

  • The ability to reinvent oneself is essential in a world that’s constantly changing. Throughout my career, I’ve embraced reinvention—not just as a necessity, but as an opportunity to grow, adapt, and thrive. Each phase of my professional journey has been marked by a willingness to evolve, learn new skills, and pivot when necessary, ensuring that I remain at the forefront of my field.
